MANILA, Philippines - You might want to think twice before hitting the "like" button on Facebook.

The social networking site has released an update that fundamentally changes the button's functionality to that of a "share" button.

Once you click "like", a full story with a headline, blurb and thumbnail will be posted on your profile wall.

You'll also be given an option to comment.

Facebook officials said the "share" button will stay, but the "like" button is the recommended one. -- ANC
