'Chalk' invites college students, alumni to 'homecoming party'
MANILA, Philippines - Chalk, a magazine that caters primarily to college students, is set to celebrate its 10th year with a homecoming party next week.
To be held at Encore, Bonifacio Global City on September 8 (Wednesday), the event welcomes students, alumni and celebrities such as players from the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).
It will be hosted by Iya Villania and Victor Basa, while DJs Euric and Mars Miranda will "provide the soundtrack for the ultimate school reunion."

"Relive your school days...whether you're a jock, geek, prom king or prom queen," Chalk said in a statement.
A homecoming refers to the tradition of welcoming back former residents and alumni of an institution, usually a school. It usually includes activities such as parades, games and dancing.
This is different from a prom, a farewell party for juniors or seniors which requires guests to be in formal wear.
Here, a couple of students are usually named "Prom King" and "Prom Queen" based on a popularity contest.
