Military tightens cordon around Red Cross kidnappers

The Philippine military said Saturday it was tightening its cordon around Muslim extremists holding two Red Cross workers hostage, even during the Easter holidays.

Napaka inutil naman ang Gobyernong Aroyo at at mga sundalong under her Command. Nakakahiya sa buong mundo. Mga Red Cross pa ang mga binihag na simbolo ng mga Kristianong mananampalataya at Simbolo ng mga nananampalatayang gumagawa ng kabutihan para sa kapwa tao.

PNRC denies giving ransom for Lacaba

Itinanggi ng Philippine National Red Cross na nagbayad sila ng P5.5 milyong ransom para makalaya si Mary Jean Lacaba, isa sa tatlo nilang volunteer na kinidnap ng Abu Sayyaf sa Sulu. Sa ngayon ay patuloy pa ring kinukubkob ng mga sundalo at pulis ang lugar kung saan pinaniniwalaang hawak ng Abu Sayyaf sina Andreas Notter at Eugenio Vagni. Nagpa-Patrol, Ina Reformina.
