MANILA - The settlement among some families of Maguindanao massacre victims and the Ampatuans won't affect the entire Maguindanao massacre case, according to the chair of the Senate's justice committee.
MANILA - The Department of Justice (DoJ) will not support any settlement between the Ampatuans and relatives of the fatalities in the gruesome Maguindanao massacre on Nov 23, 2009, the justice secretary said amid the reported desistance of the relatives of 14 of the 58 victims.
