Day 2 for COCs: More party listers
One group hands out press releases with cash
Five more accredited organizations on Saturday registered their intent to participate in the 2010 party-list elections, bringing to 19 the number of contenders, as of the second day of filing of certificates of candidacy (COCs).

They have until March to submit names of nominees
MANILA - Sixteen party-list organizations on Friday went to the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to manifest their intention to participate in the 2010 elections, although 2 of them have yet to be accredited by the poll body.
Of the 16, half are incumbent, with 10 nominees sitting in Congress.

Peaceful 1st day of filing at Comelec
Umarangkada na ang unang araw ng paghahain ng kandidatura para sa 2010. Naging mahigpit man sa gusali ng Comelec para masiguradong maayos ang filing ng certificates of candidacy, dit nito napigil ang tensyon nang magprotesta ang mga militante.
