PLDT-Digitel 'unli' promos to become permanent, NTC says

National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) Director Edgardo Cabarrios told Business Nightly's Coco Alcuaz that as part of its approval of Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co.'s acquisition of Digital Telecommunications Philippines Inc., their "unlimited" or "unli" promotions will become permanent. He said the commission would revoke licenses if the companies don't comply with its conditions, because other penalties, such as a P200 per day fine, are too low.
