Topacio defends Adolf Hitler anew

MANILA, Philippines - Former First Gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo's lawyer, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, remains convinced that Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler was a good leader.
Topacio, who has a large painting of Hitler in his law office, said Germany became a modern nation under the Nazi strongman.
He added that Germany almost became the world's most powerful nation under his rule.
"Wala naman kasing taong pulos masama o mabuti. Naging asensado ang Germany sa ilalim ng kanyang pamamalakad," he said.
Topacio first drew flak when a Bandila story showed the Hitler painting in his office.
The Nazi leader ruled Germany from 1934 to 1945. Under his rule, Germany went to war against the US-led Allied Forces in World War II.
Germany invaded many countries during the war, amid the Nazi belief that they were the superior race.
An estimated 6 million Jews were massacred during Nazi rule. Some were shot, others died in concentration camps, while others were killed in gas chambers.
Topacio is claiming that Hitler was not behind the mass killings.
He said there is no evidence that Hitler ordered the Holocaust.
Topacio claimed that the murders were made by the Germans because they were starting to lose the war.
"Walang nailabas na pagpapatibay na may official state policy ang Germany sa ilalim ng National Socialist regime na patayin ang mga Hudyo. Ang gusto lamang nila ay ilayo o i-segregate, o i-exile ang mga Hudyo," he said.
He said Hitler enjoyed the support of his people with regard to the treatment of Jews.
"Kung noon siguro ay may mga Pulse Asia sa Germany at tinanong nila ang mga Germans, tama ba ang ginagawa ni Chancellor Adolf Hitler sa mga Jews, palagay ko hindi lang 90% ang magiging approval rating. Ngunit tama ba? O kayo na ang magsabi," he said.
He also claimed that if Hitler was a dictator, he should be compared to President Benigno Aquino III and not former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
Clarita Carlos, a professor in European politics, lashed out at Topacio for his claim.
She said much evidence point to Hitler as the brains behind the Holocaust.
Carlos said Hitler gave the direct order to the military to massacre Jews.
"I am outraged. I am outraged sa kaniyang claim," Carlos said. "Binigyan niya [Hitler] ng direct order ang German military to get rid of, to neutralize, all so-called 'scums' of society. Kasama na doon ang mga Jews."

No wonder, this Topacio talks like crazy. His idolization of a person as insane as Adolf Hitler only speaks of his (Topacio) true mental state. As the old saying goes: "Birds of the same feather flock together".

USA: The Philippines are ours forever
Topacio has a point. If PNoy and Pinoys love America, why can't he love Hitler who is just the same as Uncle Sam.
This is what US Senator Albert Beveridge said in a speech to President McKinley in order to convince him to annex the Philippines, just as Hitler annexed Poland:
"Mr. President, the times call for candor. The Philippines are ours forever. . . .
And just beyond the Philippines are China's illimitable markets. We will not retreat from either. . . .
"The Pacific is our ocean. . . . Where shall we turn for consumers of our surplus? Geography answers the question. China is our natural customer. . . The Philippines give us a base at the door of all the East. . . .

"I have a nugget of pure gold picked up in its present form on the banks of a Philippine creek. . . .
"My own belief is that there are not 100 men among them who comprehend what Anglo-Saxon self-government even means, and there are over 5,000,000 people to be governed.
"It has been charged that our conduct of the war has been cruel. Senators, it has been the reverse. . . . Senators must remember that we are not dealing with Americans or Europeans. We are dealing with Orientals."
Rudyard Kipling's poem "White Man's Burden: The United States and the Philippine Islands" also convinced President McKinley to conquer the Philippines, whose people, the Filipinos, Kipling called "half devil half child," just as Hitler believed in the supremacy of the Aryan race.
So the US murdered 1.5 million Filipinos and put them in concentration camps where they were tortured just like Jews in Nazi concentration camps. Anyone at least 10 years old who tried to escape was immediately shot.
Mark Twain thought that Americans were barbarians, but many Americans think like Hitler, so they don't care. They continued to kill 3.5 million Vietnamese, Cambodians and Laotians in the Vietnam war, and until now they are suffering like a raped woman who is now insane.
So PNoy, if you want to be consistent, abandon or at least lessen your love for Uncle Sam who is like Hitler. Otherwise, you're just being a hypocrite. At least Topacio is honest.
In December 2012, ER Ejercito will be showing a movie called "El Presidente," which is the life story of President Aguinaldo and how he was conned by America. It should refresh PNoy's memory.
