(UPDATE) Three oil firms announce rollback of pump prices Tuesday

Chevron Philippines (formerly known as Caltex), Petron Corp. and PTT Philippines announced Monday price rollbacks in their petroleum products effective Tuesday.

Chevron and Petron, two of the country’s "Big 3"oil players, said the P0.50 per liter rollback in their products will take effect at 12:01 am Tuesday.

Covered by the price cuts are Chevron’s Gold, Silver, E10, regular kerosene, diesel and fuel oil products and Petron's gasoline, diesel, and kerosene products.

PTT meanwhile said that a P1 per liter reduction of pump prices for its diesel and gasoline products will be effective 6 a.m. Tuesday.
