MANILA, Philippines - A month after resting in his home country Ireland, Fr. Micheal Sinnott is back in Pagadian City, where his one-month ordeal with kidnappers began back in October 2009.

Upon arrival, Sinnott immediately visited the Hangop Kabataan Foundation in Pagadian, where he was welcomed by special children and colleagues.

Sinnott returned to work at Pagadian City on Monday morning. There were no noticeable signs of trauma from his days in captivity; in fact, he even joked with reporters about his kidnapping.

He said that the incident should not stop him from doing charitable work that he has already started.

He also led the ABS-CBN Iligan News team on a tour around the foundation, proudly showing off the works of the children.

Sinnott said that his family has been convincing him to retire, but he said his life is in Pagadian City, with the children that he has been caring for even before his abduction. With a report from Roxanne Arevalo, ABS-CBN Iligan
