MANILA, Philippines - Former President Joseph Estrada on Monday said he believes Chief Justice Renato Corona is luckier than him because Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile is very impartial in Corona's impeachment trial.

Estrada said he salutes Senator Enrile for this act and believes that the result of the impeachment trial will be fair and true.

The former president said he also salutes President Benigno Aquino III because this is the first time that the judiciary, particularly the country's chief magistrate, has been placed under scrutiny.

He also made one thing clear to the public: "Wala ako sama ng loob kay Corona. Ang sama ng loob ko kay [former Chief Justice Hilario] Davide."

When asked by media on his reaction towards Presidential Political Adviser Ronald Liamas buying pirated DVDs, Estrada said: "That's not a very important issue naman. Dapat imbestigahan muna. Di naman siya nagnakaw, bumili pa nga."

Estrada was also asked if he has plan to run as mayor of Manila. He said he has no plans yet.
