MANILA, Philippines - Malacañang said presidential adviser on environmental protection Neric Acosta will comply with the Sandiganbayan’s order to place him under 90-day preventive suspension for allegedly misusing his pork barrel funds while he was still congressman of Bukidnon.
 
“We were informed by Secretary Acosta that he will comply with the order of the Sandiganbayan,” deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte said.
 
“Secretary Acosta himself related to his morning that he recognizes that he, as an accountable official, should follow the decision of the Sandiganbayan.”
