Miriam wishes PNoy luck in finding a mate
MANILA, Philippines - Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago has a unique Valentine's Day message for President Aquino.
In an interview, Santiago said she has no comment on Aquino's personal life except to wish him luck in finding a soul mate.
"Of course we all want him to be happy, so I hope that he makes a good choice if he is choosing—at his age he should be choosing—his possible potential mate. Unless he is resolved to be a bachelor forever, I will advise him that it is a life of complete misery. Everyone needs a partner in life, so let’s wish him good luck in his search," she said.
She added, however, a quote from the Dalai Lama that said "desire is the source of all misery and unhappiness in life."
"So if he is going to look for a mate, he might desire her, then he would become unhappy. I would have to consult the Dalai Lama," she said.
Santiago also gave the following message to President Aquino. The President celebrated his 52nd birthday on Wednesday.
"I hope that the spirits of his parents, who did well for our country, will continue to guide him and that he will always be conscious of their high expectations—perhaps too high expectations—because it’s so difficult to be a president," she said.
"Frankly, if the presidency is offered to me now on a silver platter at my age, after all my experience, I will politely decline it. I will be flattered, but I will decline it. It’s extremely difficult to be a president. Let us all wish him a happy birthday, in a sense that he might gain peace of mind and serenity," she added.

Very doubtful if Pnoy can
Very doubtful if Pnoy can settle down normally, his track record with women is that he can't seem to handle and sustain any meaningful relationship, same thing with his record and performance as president - very lackluster and mediocre really, just like his stint in congress where in more than a decade, he was not able to pass even one bill. Very dismal professional and personal life, that's the character of the Philippine president.
wrong person?
maybe the dalai lama is the wrong person to consult. he may not have shared his bed with any woman, plus the dalai lama is not really an authority on human relations. the dalai lama is a religious figurehead, his nation tibet is captive of china, that must have been the source of the dalai lama's sorrow and unhappiness, he has to live in exile in india (close to nepal).

That is the other side of Miriam that I like the most. She is more cool when sharing her humor and wisdom. I wish she stays like that even in Impeachment Court, I am sure people will admire her more because no one can question her intelligence but when she lose her temper then she is only giving an opportunity to her detractors to attack her sanity.
