MANILA - A Department of Health official on Wednesday said that while there is no problem with the doctor-patient ratio, there is a dilemma on the distribution of doctors in the country.

"Tinimbang kahit kulang," Assistant Secretary Eric Tayag said in describing the predicament.

He said the problem has been in existence for a decade, even during the time of former Sen. Juan Flavier who launched the Doctors to the Barrios program.
