Not all Cory, Ninoy-lovers will vote for Noynoy

MANILA, Philippines - Not all Filipinos who chose the late couple Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr. and Corazon Aquino as their most beloved leader will vote for their son, Sen. Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III, according to a Pulse Asia survey disclosed two days before Valentine's Day.

Pulse Asia asked 1,800 respondents in its January 22-26, 2010 survey if they have ever loved a Filipino leader or politician, living or deceased, and 52% responded yes.

Of the 52% who said they have loved a leader or politician, the most loved politician or leader was Mrs. Aquino, with 35% or around one in every 3 respondents naming her.

Not so loyal for Noynoy?

However, not all those who have loved the late President would choose her son, Noynoy, for president.

Out of the 35% who picked Cory as their most loved leader, 50% or 1 in every 2 respondents said they would choose Noynoy for president.

Surprisingly, 33% or one in every 3 respondents of those who have loved Cory said they would vote for Noynoy's closest rival, Sen. Manny Villar, for president.

This data could be one reason for the dissipation of the so-called "Cory magic" which catapulted Noynoy as the most preferred presidential candidate in the months following his mother's death from cancer on August 1, 2009. (Read: Cory magic wearing off on Noynoy?)

While the Aquino camp believes that they have a 40% loyal base of supporters, it would appear from the latest presidential survey that they're not that loyal after all.

With 90% of voters poor, Villar's pro-poor marketing pitch and rags-to-riches tale, backed by huge spending on political ads, appears to have weakened support for Noynoy. (Read: Noynoy losing support of masses, surveys show)

Aquino and Villar were already in a statistical tie for most preferred presidential candidate in the January 22-26 survey of Pulse Asia, with 37% choosing Aquino and 35% picking Villar.  (Read: Aquino, Villar tied in Pulse Asia survey)

Many Marcos-lovers go for Villar

Tied for second most-loved Filipino politician/leader were the late President Ferdinand Marcos and ex-President Joseph Estrada.

Out of the 14.8% who have loved Marcos, a plurality of 42% said they would choose Villar for president, while 22% would choose Noynoy.

Out of the 12.8% who have loved Estrada, a plurality of 46% said they would choose him for president again in May 2010. Villar came second among Estrada-lovers with 29% while Noynoy was third with 19%.

Many Ninoy-, Magsaysay-lovers will vote for Noynoy

The fourth most-loved Filipino politician/leader was Noynoy's father, Benigno 'Ninoy' Aquino Jr., who was assassinated on August 21, 1983.

Out of the 8.4% who have loved Ninoy, a big majority of 65% said they would vote for his son, Noynoy. Among the Ninoy-lovers, Villar was second with 22%.

The late President Ramon Magsaysay was tied with Ninoy with 6.6% saying they have loved him. Out of the 6.6%, a plurality of 47% said they would vote for Noynoy; 17% would vote for Villar.

‘Villar loyalists’

Villar was 5th among the most loved Filipino politicians or leaders.

Although only 4.9% said they have loved Villar, 92% or 9 out of every 10 of them said they would vote for Villar. Noynoy was next with 3%.

"Senator Villar appears to enjoy the most reliable electoral capital among those seeing him as their most beloved political leader," Pulse Asia said.

Out of the 2% who have loved President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, 58% or around 6 out of every 10 of them would vote for Villar, 17% would go for Noynoy, and only 15% for her official candidate, Gilbert Teodoro.

Faithful Bro. Eddie followers

Noynoy, Brother Eddie Villanueva, Sen. Richard Gordon and Lakas-Kampi-CMD standard-bearer Gilbert Teodoro were voted by a small fraction of respondents as their most beloved political leader.

Of the 4 presidential bets, only Villanueva has faithful followers with all respondents who chose him as their most beloved saying they will vote for him.

Majority of Noynoy lovers, meanwhile, said will vote for Villanueva (89%).

The Pulse Asia said the survey's result shows that "...love for a Filipino national leader or politician understandably influences the country's voters; however, as a critical political resource, love also appears to reflect fickleness in some specific cases."

The running mates of Villar and Noynoy -- Senators Loren Legarda and Mar Roxas, respectively -- were both chosen by 0.6% of those who said they have a loved political leader.

The survey showed that 53% of Legarda-lovers would choose Noynoy for president while 47% would pick Villar.

Many of Roxas-lovers said they will go for Villar (48%), and only 39% said they will vote for Noynoy.

2010 Political Game Play for the Year of the Split Tiger

Philippine elections are particularly interesting to observe compared to other countries' elections because the five fundamental dynamic elements are usually present. For those familiar with Feng Shui and psychology, its game cards are easy to see:

Element: WATER
Mental condition: "schizophrenic"
Descriptive Class: Shamans
Descriptive Gender: "Female"
Characteristic "race": Small Browns or Brown Female

Close to Artists/Actors, Dishonest

Unlike the two-party American "gay" system, and the one-party Chinese "autistic" system, the multi-party Filipino "schizophrenic" system shows the full spectrum of the Five Elements (Wu Xing), like the female mind. The Philippines can be compared to a Black Widow spider or a Praying Mantis that bites off the head of its mate after sex and eats it to nourish her children. So the female often loves the bisexual because "he" is often willing to serve "his" head on a silver platter, like a suicide bomber, leading the family like the Headless Horseman. The true male considers it to be crazy, stays away and develops "autism." Thus, the Philippines will often search for a "bisexual" leader, unlike Chinese President Hu Jintao who is an "autistic" engineer.

However, in this year's election, the "bisexual" vote is split between Erap and Villar, which allows a male "autistic" candidate like Noynoy to increase his chances of winning. The inner male voice of the female also thinks about stability and trustworthiness, and unfortunately, the bisexual is often unreliable and dishonest because "his" head offering might be a magical box trick, mimicking the Wizard of Oz. So sometimes she picks the nerd over the romantic lover when she feels like going straight. But she can be split about the numerous inner voices that silently speak to her, so she may become indecisive, develop a "split mind" or become "schizophrenic."

It is not only the female who has the five basic gender minds or voices within her conscience. All five genders have these five elements in their conscience or minds. And even all the "races" have the characteristics or traits of all five genders. In other words, there are five gender breeds (i.e. Yellows, Small Browns, Blacks, Whites and Big Browns) which correspond to the five genders. And within each "race," there are five actual genders. Of course, within each gender, there are five gender minds. These all come in different degrees with an infinite number of combinations, which makes each individual unique yet similar using five-element organization.

In the end, people will decide on everything that they do based on their gender minds, gender and gender breed. They will think of the needs of the multiple genders within themselves and act on these needs. As Freud believes, everything is motivated by sex.

They will all desire and avoid relationships with each other, following the "harmony" and "conflict" lines or game "rules" of the five-pointed star or Pentacle of Kung-Fu Tzu (Confucius), which looks like a Filipino Christmas parol, originally patterned after Chinese or Japanese paper lanterns. Each gender sits on one of the tips of the star, and both the star and the circle around it show how the genders love, hate, help, poison and kill each other.

The game guidelines though are broad and dynamic, as harmony can produce conflict (or vice-versa), or as "good" sheep can become "evil" goats (or vice-versa). Consequently, the Chinese script for the word "crisis" and "opportunity" is exactly the same. Similarly, the words "goat" and "sheep" have the same Chinese pictogram.

This dynamic game interplay of yin and yang can be described in the Wu Xing ecology model, where the amount, perspective and timing or circumstance of the Elements are significant. Water, for instance, nourishes trees (Wood), but too much Water or flooding will rot and destroy Wood just as males are nourished by females but their continuous presence may irritate or annoy them. However, Earth absorbs the excess Water, just as lesbians court females. Eventually, if the female is influenced, she becomes bisexual as Earth and Water concentrate to produce mineral resources ("Metal"). Metal may chop down trees, but if metal is used carefully, it can craft wood to fine furniture just as Shaolin monks learned mental discipline and the practical use of martial arts from Buddhist and Hindu Indians. Water may also extinguish fire, but in small amounts, water simply relaxes the fire, just as females may neutralize fiery gays in their social presence, or just like clergymen baptizing militants in Living Water. A wildfire though may destroy forests, just like gays sodomizing males, but mild atmosphere-filtered sunshine is beneficial to trees, just as Asian men may sport fashionable neckties and body-fit Western shirts, tucked into European business pants that show the contour of their buttocks to other men, who eventually become customers or business partners.

Thus, all presidential candidates will roughly follow this common political symbol or pattern in the election game. And at the end of the day, whatever the election results may be, people will be able to roughly see a statistical supercollider "x-ray" of the Philippines' state of mind or mental health, which may enable future leaders to heal the world and make it a "better" place.

People will learn. From the "male," they learn how to think. From the "female," they learn the "divine" nature of the five voices. From the "lesbian," they become "down to earth." From the gay, they dream big. And from the "bisexual," they learn self-sacrifice and love. So let the games begin!

Empty promises again and again and again....

Like it or not, Hacienda Luisita are just one of many issues that costs Noynoy his rating and why even his parent's long time supporters are not voting for him. Noynoy may have promised a 2014 land distribution but a lot of people with claims to the hacienda are no longer buying it. Cory herself made that promise when she was campaigning opposite Marcos in 80's and it resulted to nothing. Will there be a difference with Noynoy now? And to think that Noynoy only has a 1% ownership of the hacienda so how can he make that promise?

Greed

And smagul your bet once declared that the land will be distributed by 2014 means he is amenable of the fact that the land is deserved to farmers....Are you blind o bobo lang talaga...

It means that it's more trouble than it's worth for the Aquino's. Again, is the land worth the price of lives lost for the farmers? You see, greed is not only limited with the riches as well. And loyalty sa ating bayan is meaningless.

Ano?

I don't want you to think that I am less sympathetic to the farmers or the poor in general. I too, have live under those circumstances when I was a child. However, I will ask of you. How much have you done for our country in regards to giving back to the poor? How much land did you have to relinquish under Carp? You see, it's easier said than done when you have nothing to lose, right? My point was, the farmers and the landowner came to an agreement under stock distribution instead of the land. It doesn't matter what the motive were, it's an agreement. So in reality, who is breaching the contract here? Sure I agree under the previous and current circumstances that it's probably best to give it all. Although it's not ours to decide, but to the party's who are involved. As a nation of laws, when did our opinions and feelings became the law of the land? Why do you resort to insult to make your point? In reality, if CARP wasn't established by Cory administration, would this be an issue? Why do you insist on biting the hands that feed you? Kawawa ang bansa kasi sa mindset natin, else we wouldn't be discussing this at all and no one would have to die sa Hacienda Luisita.

Hwag pumuna ng dungis ng iba kundi unahing linisin at punasan ang putik sa iyong mukha.Do not be a user just to lift yourself instead do your best!!!!!!Regardless of the percentage of ownership aquino-cojuangco property bakuran me gusot,its not today but years.Someone became president but nothings happened.someone was once seated in Congress but again nothings happened.Someone was again seated in Senate again nothings happened.Are we blind?or making ourselves blind and deaf for fellow farmers.

And smagul your bet once declared that the land will be distributed by 2014 means he is amenable of the fact that the land is deserved to farmers....Are you blind o bobo lang talaga...

Kung lahat ng pinoy kagaya mu kawawa pala ang bansa.

@Optimus

Lets approach this in a different logic then and I'm still not convince we are being fair in our demand of the Aquino's. Educate me in what other lands does the the family own which they haven't relinquish under CARP (Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program) agreement. It seems to me that this specific estate is curse from the beginning, it appeared blood has been spilled there before.

"Hukbalahap rebellion led the Spanish owners of Tabacalera to sell Hacienda Luisita and the sugar mill Central Azucarera de Tarlac."

In which is the obvious, it makes me wonder as well if the implementation of CARP program and it's benefits over all, has been over shadowed by the needs of the Leftists, in regard the Hacienda Luisita.

"In compliance with the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program, nearly 5,000 hectares of Hacienda Luisita were placed under a stock distribution agreement between the landowners and farm workers. However, in 2005, the Department of Agrarian Reform canceled the stock distribution agreement, citing that it had failed to improve the lives of more than 5,000 farmer beneficiaries. Hacienda Luisita Incorporated appealed this decision, but in May 2006, the Presidential Agrarian Reform Council rejected with finality the motion of Hacienda Luisita Incorporated to reconsider the revocation of the stock distribution agreement.[1] However, the Supreme Court issued a temporary restraining order, stopping the Presidential Agrarian Reform Council from parceling out the land to the workers"

There are many variables that I can think/guess of as to what other influences are involved with interest of the estate other than the Aquino's. I just think that it's unfair to Noy or the Aquino's, to be judge in character of what happen in the Hacienda when clearly there was an agreement between the farmers and the land owner in Stock Distribution agreement, which was cited by by the Department of Agrarian as a failure, in which also was appealed by the family or the corporation. We are after all a nation of laws, right? And those picket lines didn't have to happen either nor the troops were necessary to be sent. I believed there was a third party instigating the scenario and when troubled soul are involve, people dies. Which is how deep the corruption sa ating bayan. However, in my opinion the Aquino's are not guilty, but guilty lang sa association sa land.

One final note to consider. They brought back Democracy from the usurper regime, they have enemies. Why would they destroy the foundation of the house they have help built? Doesn't make any sense to me.

@Smagul

@Smagul

Smuggler este smagul, history na ang nagsasabi tungkol sa Hacienda Luisita cguro sapat na ang kinita ng mga Aquino dyan oras na para isoli nila yan sa mga magsasaka bago pa may mamatay ulit.

@Optimus

Here is how I see this whole scenario regarding the Hacienda, okay.

It's like Judas betraying Jesus and then blame the rest of the disciples for the act. I think there are more than meets the eye here and who knows what were spoken in the dark during the alliance or after. The way I see it, I don't think the Aquino's are capable of the act nor mastermind the incident, which I base on fact that its condescending to what accomplishment and sacrifice they have done for our country.

However being an Aquino and what Noy may knows of that incident or in affiliation if any, should be base on facts not theories of story which are rather bias and a form of dis-characterization in singular. No one is guilty unless proven otherwise. So my final take in fairness? Ask Gloria of what happen, she's the evil genius remember? As they said, always follow the money if you want the truth.

As for ABS-CBN being bias, I think we all are to a certain degree. I'm for the truth, so it doesn't matter where I am.
