MANILA – President Aquino may be part of the 13% of Filipinos who have no love life but that does not mean he is lacking in Valentine wishes from members of Team PNoy.

Sen. Francis Escudero, a close friend of the President, gave the following Valentine's Day wish for Aquino.

“Sana makahanap din siya ng tunay, dalisay, at walang hanggang pag-ibig at ng isang babae na iibigin din siya ng wagas,” he said in a statement. Escudero is romantically linked with actress Heart Evangelista.

Sen. Allan Peter Cayetano said the President must find his "Lani", referring to his wife and current mayor of Taguig City.

"Good things come to those who wait. I hope even if it’s not sooner but later, PNoy will get lucky like me and find his Lani, the ideal wife – someone who is not only beautiful inside and out, someone who loves this country as much as we cherish our own relationship," he said.

Sen. Ramon “Jun” Magsaysay said he hopes the President will finally have a lifetime partner soon. “Sana, makakambal kaagad,” Magsaysay said in a statement.

Grace Poe, meanwhile, has a unique wish for the President.

“I wish him some 'me' time, a date with himself, to do everything he loves us to do but has not been able to do because he has been too busy being president,” Poe said.

“I remember that last Christmas, PNoy said he enjoyed getting a three-hour break and a chance to load songs to his iPod. The President badly needs some ‘me’ time,” Poe added.

The President earlier told ABS-CBN's TV Patrol he believes that God has plans for him when it comes to love.

"Ina-ambisyon ko magkaroon ng relasyon na tulad ng nanay at tatay ko na sa tagal ng panahon naging one, naging buo," he said.

Aquino said that when he dates women, he always looks forward to having a potential partner for life.

"Ang hinanahanap ko ay life-long commitment eh, kailangan sigurado. Siguro sa mga bansa na may divorce, test-ingin natin, 'pag hindi, bukas, palitan natin," he said.

"May focus eh, magka-asawa ka, magkaroon ka ng pamilya, ang pamilya mo lumaki sa maayos na tahanan. Syempre sinusubukan ko naman dagdagan 'yung tsana na ganu'n ang mangyari," he added.

Among the personalities previously linked to Aquino are TV and radio host Grace Lee, celebrity stylist Liz Uy and Valenzuela City councilor Shalani Soledad.
