MANILA, Philippines - So you think the childhood of Nacionalista Party (NP) presidential candidate Manuel Villar Jr. was so bad because--as his popular TV ads tell us--he spent Christmases on the streets and experienced living amid garbage?
Liberal Party (LP) presidential bet Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III has his own sob story. In a speech on Thursday during the 24th anniversary of the 1986 People Power revolt, he shared his own challenges as a young boy.
"Nasubukan na ba ninyo na makulong ng Pasko at Bagong Taon para lang makapiling ang inyong mahal sa buhay na wala namang sala?" Aquino said before thousands of supporters at the Araneta Coliseum.
It was an obvious twist from a line in one of Villar's ads: "Nagpasko ka na ba ng sa gitna ng kalsada?"
Aquino added: "Nakaranas na ba kayo na mag-iyakan ang inyong buong pamilya pagsapit ng Bagong Taon sa loob ng maliit na selda samantalang nagdidiwang at nagsasaya sa labas ang buong daigdig?
"Nakaranas na ba kayong maging kuya at tatay sa mga kapatid na babae sa murang edad ng inyong pagbibinata.
"Ang lahat ng naranasan kong ito ay bahagi ng isang bangungot na hindi dapat nangyari, at lalo ng hindi na dapat maulit pa," Aquino said.
Estimates from the LP camp said nearly 20,000 supporters attended the event at the Araneta Coliseum. Another stage was set up outside for those who could not be accommodated inside.
NP's concert
While the LP celebrated the EDSA People Power anniversary in Quezon City, the NP also had its concert event at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
"Di ko alam ang ipinagdiriwang doon. Pero OK lang sakin," Aquino said, when asked to comment on the NP activity.
Asked if he thinks the NP intentionally matched the LP celebration, Aquino said: "Maraming araw na pwedeng gawin--bukas o Sabado. Pero pinili ang araw na ito. As usual, OK lang po."
Towards the end of the speech, Aquino expressed confidence that he will win the presidential elections.
"Sa mga nanlalait, hindi lang sakin, kundi sa panawagan ng panahon, simple lang ang sagot dito: Ito ang ating tadhana," he said.

Madaling maintindihan ang kwentong ito.
Mayroong mga magsasaka sa Norzagaray, Bulacan na matagal nang nagsasaka sa kanilang lupain. Ang ilan sa kanila’y mga anak ng mga Dumagat na nasa lupaing ito sa simula pa lamang ng bansa. Ilan din ay nasa lupain mula pa noong panahon ng Commonwealth kung kailan mga Amerikano pa ang nagpapalakad ng Pinas.
Napatituluhan nila ang kanilang lupain noon na lamang Abril 27, 1964. Binigyan sila ng Register of Deeds ng Bulacan ng titulo na Original Certificate of Title (OCT) No. P-858/ Free Patent No. 257917.
Marso 7, 1987 nasunog ang opisina ng Register of Deeds ng Bulacan.
Ang mga magsasaka’y humingi ng reconstitution of title sa korte ngunit, laking gulat nila nang tinutulan ito ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) dahil ang kanila raw lupain ay sakop ng titulo ng lupang pag-aari ng BSP sa hawak ng BSP na TCT T- 48694 P(M) na 485 ektaryang sakahan.
Papaano nangyari na binigyan sila ng titulo na ang ibig sabihin ay walang ibang nag-angkin nito hanggang 1964 kung kailan sila binigyan ng titulo tapos, nasunog lamang ang opisina ng Register of Deeds ay iba na ang may-ari? Paanong napunta ang lupain nila sa BSP?
Ganito ang nangyari. Nagpautang ang BSP sa Capitol Development Bank na pag-aari nina Manuel at Cynthia Villar, ang Speaker of the House at isang congresswoman, malalaking mga tao.
Hindi nakabayad ang bangko nila sa BSP kung kaya niremata ang lupaing kanilang sinanla sa BSP na mayroong anim na sunud-sunod na titulo mula TCT T-38651 P(M) hanggang T-38659 P(M). Galing naman ang anim na ito sa TCT T-1182 P(M). At ang orihinal naman na titulo ay OCT No. 287 ng Registry of Deeds ng Bulacan na napetsahan ng 25, July 1944. Ayon sa OCT na ito, ang titulo ay binigay sa ilalim ng kapangyarihan ng Sec.122 of Act 496 ng Land Registration Act ng United States of America.
Bakit nabigyan ng OCT ang mga magsasaka noong 1964 kung kailan ay kumpleto pa ang lahat ng titulo sa Register of Deeds ng Bulacan (bago ito nasunog) mula pa noong panahon ng Kastila. Di kaya na ang ibig sabihin noon ay walang nakitang hadlang ang Register of Deeds sa hiling ng mga magsasaka para sa kanilang titulo? E, bakit pagkatapos masunog ang mga titulo ng Register of Deeds ay biglang nagkaroon na ng hadlang ang titulo ng mga magsasaka?
Meron bang mga titulo na ginawa noong panahon ng Hapon (1944) na alinsunod sa batas ng United States of America? Maaari bang mangyari ang ganito?
Ang sagot naman ng mga Villar sa problema ng mga magsasaka ng Norzagaray ay ganito: Na-dismiss na ang parehong kaso na iniharap sa Ombudsman kung kaya hindi na nila sasagutin kung anuman ang problema ng mga magsasaka. Ang masama nito ay kung walang magpapaliwanag, nagmumukhang peke ang titulong pinaremata ni Manny Villar sa BSP. Totoo man o hindi, kapag nanalo siya sa pagka-pangulo, saan pa maaaring tumakbo ang mga magsasaka ng Norzagaray para makamit ang katarungan? O, wala na ba silang pag-asa?

A high end housing " PROMINENZA" was developed and later change to CAMELLA. The farmers were fuming mad because Villar's men took advantage of them and they were short changed at the end of the bargaining..

Stopping corruption by Government Officials
One of NoyNoy Aquino's priority when elected is to persecute those who are practicing corruption during GMA's regine. This is what the current administration is fearing about. They do not want NP to win because of the fact that they will end up in jail if proven they are corrupt. I do not want to mention names of the current administration who are practicing corruption and who are guilty right now. Sooner or later if someone is going to take a step like the (NoyNoy Aquino and Manuel Roxas) LP's platform to curve corruptions. There is hope if this will happen that those who are guilty of corruptions and bribery will pay the price and the money might get return to the pork barrel of the govt funds once they will be proven of stealing our money. Government will freeze their asset like what we did with Marcos. So, if this will happen... at least we are in the right track but if Villar will become a president, we are only repeating the same mistakes we have with GMA on her 8 yrs term. WE do not want to repeat this again and we do not want the corrupt and greedy Government officials to continue to abuse us all filipinos.
One thing to Remind all filipinos before election
Villar will get all his money back that he spend for his campaign when he will be elected as president. The way his platform works is not not helping filipinos. He said in on interview: He is not going to promise if he will raise taxes or not during his tenure.... Remember? When someone is telling you or giving you a hint like this, big dramatic situation will happens after election and if he will become a president. You cannot trust this man, if he is deceiving filipinos that he was poor and have experience living in the garbage or street. THAT IS A TOTAL LIE... DO NO BE DECEIVE!
Filipinos will be poorer than dirt and here comes VILLAR and his cronies of communist and leftist...We are back to MARCOS REGIME AGAIN.... and more corruptions is going to happen. Rich will get richer by abusing power and corruptions and the poor will get to pay the debts and will get poorer.
THINK AND VOTE WISELY.......FOR YOUR FUTURE AND THE FUTURE OF YOUR GENERATION.

Villar/NP - malaki ang ginagastos. Noynoy/LP - malaki din ang ginagastos. di ba parepareho lang sila. nagkataon lang mas maraming pera si Villar. Haggat may pera gagamitin nila yan. ganun din ang ibang kumakandidato, para manalo. wag tayong mag-judge. tignan nyo rin yung bet ninyong kandidato. milyon din ang gastos. Saka instead na MAGSIRAAN. ipaalam na lang sa taong ang plataporma at ipakita din ang mga nagawa sa bayan. Wag magsiraan kung totoo ang allegation nyo, ngayon pa lang idaan ninyo na sa korte. wag magpabida bida or pa-hero effect. Go Noynoy
The problem with Villar mudslinging camp is whatever thing they throw to Noynoy, it always boomerang to them 10 times.
Noynoy will be the President. We need a leader that detest corruption and with integrity. We dont need over qualified or very intelligent (as they always claimed) leader to governed us (we should learn our lesson). We dont also need a saviour, what we need is a leader whom we can trust and people who will be vigilant after the election.
Going for Noynoy is the best choice. I admire those artist whom despite of lucrative offer from the moneyed presidentiable, still followed their principle by joining Noynoy.
But to those celebrities going for Villar, we found your true colors. Sarah G made a very grave mistake. Just for a 20M bucks, most filipinos now stop admiring you. Too bad, you listen to wowowee and probably your mother. Lets face it, nobody (except his family) will volunteer for Villar without monetary gifts or favor in return.

What I Fear If Villar Wins
I can't help but fear if Villar wins, there will an administration with different power players moving in different directions. I can't help but fear if Villar wins, running the government by the people, for the people would be a full pledged business enterprise. Why? Villar's ticket is composed of communist and leftist, military rightists and opportunists. This happened also when Cory was installed in power by different groups with conflicting ideology. Analyze for a moment how firm was he when confronted in the senate with C5 issue. Didn't he sidestep to avoid confronting the problem? Analyze for a moment how he managed to steer all these different groups to gravitate around. Do you think his wealth has nothing to do with it. I'm not saying he is guilty of using it or plan to use until election. Everybody knows, money is like a magnet, it attracts all metals towards it.
