MANILA, Philippines - Satisfaction ratings of top government officials, except of Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile, have dropped or remain unchanged, the latest survey of the Social Weather Stations (SWS) showed.

The Fourth Quarter 2009 Social Survey showed that among the 4 top government officials after the President, Enrile is the only one whose net satisfaction ratings went up.

The survey, conducted from Dec. 5-10, 2009, focused on the satisfaction ratings of Vice President Noli de Castro, Enrile, House Speaker Prospero Nograles, and Chief Justice Reynato Puno.

It showed that 46% of Filipino adults are satisfied and 27% are dissatisfied with the performance of the Senate President.

"Senate President Enrile’s net satisfaction rating has been moderate over the past three quarters: it was +23 in June, +14 in September, and +19 in December," the survey showed.

The survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews of 2,100 adults (300 from Metro Manila and 600 each from the rest of Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao). It has a margin of error of +/-2 for national percentages.

Although his ratings are still higher than the other top officials, De Castro's net satisfaction ratings fell. The survey showed that 52% of Filipino adults are satisfied with his performance, while 28% are not. He received a net satisfaction rating of +23.

"Vice-President de Castro’s latest net satisfaction rating of moderate +23 is 9 points down from the good +32 in September 2009. It is just 1 point above his historically lowest score of +22 in May 2005," the survey showed.

Meanwhile, the net satisfaction ratings of Nograles and Puno are almost unchanged. Satisfaction rating of Nograles remained at a poor -20 from September to December 2009, while Puno's rating was +1, or almost similar to September's +2.

Among top government institutions, the net satisfaction ratings of the Supreme Court and the Cabinet slightly increased. The SC got a net satisfaction rating of +18, or 4 points up from +14 in the previous quarter.

The Cabinet's rating increased from -5 in September 2009 to -1 in the previous quarter.

Net satisfaction rating of the Senate, however, dropped to +27 from +30 in September 2009, while the rating of the House of Representatives was almost unchanged, from +10 in September to +9 in the previous quarter. (Newsbreak)

Bakit?

THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE

MAY I REMIND MY COUNTRYMENT THAT THIS STUPID MAN IS ONE OF THE CORRUPT GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL DURING MARCOS REGIME. NALIMUTAN NYO NA BA? THIS STUPID GUY KNOWS HOW TO PLAY CARDS. HE KNOWS WHEN TO BE AN ANGEL AND KNOWS WHEN TO BE A DEVIL. OPO PLEASE WAG TAYONG MAKALIMOT.

What survey are you talking about? Paki-check nyo ang National statistics Office kung ano ang population natin ha bago kaya maglabas ng kenkoy na survey.
