MANILA - The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is set to subpoena Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) founding chairman Nur Misuari in its ongoing probe into an alleged conspiracy among several key players to launch the Sabah 'expedition.'

According to an ABS-CBN News source, Misuari will be invited to appear next week, at the earliest.

However, Misuari is not keen on attending the probe saying he is preoccupied with preparations for the 45th anniversary of the MNLF in Sulu.

The MNLF signed a peace agreement with the Ramos government in 1997.
