ALBAY, Philippines – Team PNoy made the rounds of Albay for two days to woo Bicolanos.

The Bicol region is said to be vote-rich with a high voter turnout based on past elections.

Albay Governor Joey Salceda said he is happy over the visit of the Liberal Party-led senatorial slate.

But Salceda thinks no more than 10 of the party's senatorial candidates will win in Albay.

"Ang kampanya namin 12-0, pero alam ko resulta n'yan 10-2," he said.

Salceda refused to name the Team PNoy bets he thinks are the weak candidates of the administration slate, although he has spoken to President Aquino about this.

Salceda said though that UNA's JV Ejercito and Migz Zubiri have a strong following in Albay.

"Hindi magpapakita sa Albay? Goodbye," quipped the Albay governor.

Team PNoy held four rallies in the province on Friday.

Senator Chiz Escudero did not attend the rallies, but his team mates were quick to defend him as he is embroiled in a controversy with the parents of his girlfriend, actress Heart Evangelista.

Heart's parents are opposed to their relationship and have held press conferences and interviews to express their fears about Escudero.

An estimated 700,000 votes are up for grabs in Albay.

Before the May 13 elections, Team PNoy candidates are expected to return to Albay to woo voters.
