MANILA - Malacanang welcomes Singapore President Tony Tan Ken Yam for his four-day state visit to the Philippines.

Communications Secretary Sonny Coloma said, "At the invitation of President Aquino, His Excellency Dr. Tony Tan Ken Yam of the Republic of Singapore will be arriving tomorrow morning for a four-day state visit. The two leaders will discuss cooperative activities in defense, trade and investment.

President Tan and his official party will offer a wreath in honor of Dr. Jose Rizal at the Luneta Park on Thursday before proceeding to Malacanang, where a state luncheon is awaiting in his honor.
