INFOGRAPHIC: Inflation, low pay urgent concerns of Pinoys

Controlling inflation and addressing the low pay of workers are the "leading urgent national concerns among Filipinos," according to a February 26 to March 9, 2012 survey by Pulse Asia.

Next on the list of "most urgent national concerns" are fighting corruption in government, creating more jobs, and reducing poverty.

The survey also found that only 13% consider the fairness of Supreme Court Chief Justice Renato Corona's trial as an urgent nationl concern.

Likewise, only 12% considered running after current and former government officials who are/were being accused of graft and corruption as an urgent national concern.

Pulse Asia also found that the Aquino administration got "majority approval scores" in promoting peace (52%), enforcing the law equally on all citizens (57%), fighting criminality (57%), and fighting corruption (60%).

The survey was done amid rising oil prices, "fluctuating power rates, declining headline inflation rate, and the record-breaking performance of the Philippine Stock Exchange."

The survey has a margin of error of plus/minus 3%.
