MANILA, Philippines - Just how close will the vice-presidential election outcome be between Makati City Mayor Jejomar Binay and Sen. Manuel Roxas? 

The Liberal Party (LP) claims it will be a "hairline" victory for Roxas.  

But whose hairline?  

Will it be a hairline like the party's standard-bearer, 50-year-old Sen. Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino's or LP campaign manager, 55-year-old Florencio "Butch" Abad's?  

It'll be like Abad's, says Aquino-Roxas Bantay Balota chief, Avelino Cruz.  

"More or less, mga 200,000 votes ang magiging lamang ni Senator Roxas...Kasing nipis nung hairline ni Secretary Butch Abad," Cruz says. (Click here for video).  

Abad quips it would be better not to talk about his hairline. "Huwag naman yung hairline ang pag-usapan natin."

The LP says they have copies of the original certificates of canvass nationwide. 

Being the dominant minority party, like the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), they also have access to a server where votes from the municipal and provincial canvassing centers are being transmitted. 

Based on their data, Roxas is leading, and in the end, he will win by a slim margin of less than 1%. 

The Binay camp, meanwhile, projects former President Joseph Estrada's running mate will win by around 930,000 votes.   

Going by Estrada’s and Binay’s hairlines, the Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino (PMP) bet appears to have the edge. -- report from Niña Corpuz, ABS-CBN News
