MANILA, Philippines - The House minority on Wednesday said they are ready to sign a waiver to open to the public all their dollar and peso accounts in support of Chief Justice Renato Corona's challenge for the 188 congressmen to sign a similar waiver.

But just like Corona's challenge to the 188 congressmen who signed the impeachment complaint, the House minority also called on the 188 congressmen to sign a similar waiver as condition for opening to the public their dollar and peso accountS.

House Minority Leader Danilo Suarez said he believes that Chief Justice Renato Corona answered all the accusations against him in yesterday's impeachment trial.

For his part, Rep. Philip Pichay said that it is not impossible for the Chief Justice to have $12 million worth of transactions for more than a decade but it does not mean that he has an initial or ending balance worth $12 million.

If it is proven that the Chief Justice did not have $12 million, Suarez believes that this will affect the credibility of both the Ombudsman and Commission on Audit for making false accusations.
