MANILA, Philippines - Acting Supreme Court Chief Justice Antonio Carpio on Monday said the country must move on after the impeachment of former chief justice Renato Corona.

"We have to move on," he said.

He said he has not decided yet on whether to accept automatic nomination to the post of chief justice as most senior justice of the Supreme Court.

Asked if he will comply with unconditional waiver requirement should he decide to accept nomination he said: "You will know we write our response."
