Aquino to face challenges similar to Obama’s

MANILA, Philippines--Much has been said about President-elect Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino being the country’s version of US President Barack Obama.

For historian Manuel “Manolo” Quezon III, however, shades of similarities can be seen by looking at the fact that “he will face many of the same challenges…the expectations are high.”

In an interview on ANC’s Headstart on Wednesday, Aquino’s inauguration spokesman said, “while no one doubts his personal integrity, he now has to confront many problems that he’s inherited and try to work it out and deliver to the man on the street.”

Like Obama, Aquino will play a big part in uniting a nation that has been divided by a widely unpopular president.

Obama replaced former US President George W. Bush, whose administration had been racked by several high-profile issues such as terrorism and economic slumps.

Several months into his administration, Obama has had his fair share of controversies, which Aquino will also most likely meet.

“Just how much time the public will give him to do his job and basically get started remains to be seen,” Quezon said.

What the public will see, however, is the spectacle that is the inauguration on June 30.

Quezon reiterated the event will be a simple one, anchored on traditions and innovations that would signify Aquino’s battlecry: change.

Oath to change

“The tradition is that the president, having taken his oath, having received his first salute from the Armed Forces of the Philippines…will deliver his first message to the nation, his inaugural address,” he said.

The inauguration will closely follow traditions, he said.

A “real innovation” will set things rolling for the new president, however, he added. (Click here for related story)

“After [the address], there’s the real innovation in this inaugural, which is the taking of the oath to change. This will be led by representatives from the many volunteer groups that played such an important role in the campaign,” he said.

The public will also join in “in order to show their support and adherence to the objectives of the president,” Quezon added.

Obama learned from Aquino!

He kicks out McChrystal because of the latter saying negative things to a magazine.

He got the idea from Aquino when Bangit made political comments to the media.

He-he-he. Aquino's detractors are so crying and hurting so bad already because he's doing great already even before he takes over.

Really?

I don't think so. Is ABNoy ready to make decisions although unpopular but will be beneficial to a lot of people? He will be tested in time but only those great leaders can withstand the pressure and be able to come out from the rubble victorious. For now, I don't see ABNoy possesses such leadership qualities much less stable mind not to crack under extreme stress.
By the way, it's a poor suggestion to ABNoy to kick the soldier's balls, he cannot help himself baka bumigay siya at tsupain lahat ng makita niya! Good luck mga ABNoys!

oh, wise one...

the sun will rise from the east and set in the west.
because there is no sign of rain in the next five days and the temperature currently is 78F then we can forecast that at the 5th day temperatures will most likely be in the high 80's.

Obama kicks McCrystal's gay balls--Aquino should do the same

Military personnel are so gay, aren't they? General McCrystal finally exposed his faggot self and showed why he belongs to the Sacred Band of Thebes--an elite gay army. But while Alexander the Gay and Hitler would be so proud, Obama is ready to kick his balls just like Jacky Chan's black karate kid.

Aquino should do the same. Just strip these faggots naked and let their cocks do the the fighting.

Or better yet, just outsource the military and get value for taxpayer's hard-earned cash. Then supplement it with a civilian volunteer or draft army, like the Swiss army.

I disagree. The challenges are completely different.

On the issues pointed out as similar, these are the same issues tackled by new presidents coming from the opposition.

Obama is also very unpopular now because of the forced Health Care Law and as evidenced by the Tea Party movement.
