MANILA - Cristino Naguiat Jr., chairman of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor), continues to enjoy the trust and confidence of President Aquino, a Palace spokesman said Thursday.

This, despite reports that Bayan Muna party-list Rep. Neri Colmenares will block Naguiat's reappointment because of controversies related to his work at the Pagcor.

Asked if President Aquino has ordered an investigation of Naguiat, Coloma said the issues against the Pagcor chief can be looked into by the appropriate government agencies.
