MANILA - Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesman Chief Supt. Reuben Theodore Sindac said Senator Juan Ponce Enrile wants to limit his visitors to not more than 61 people.

These include:

14 family members,
8 "VIPs" and senators,
9 members of his legal team,
9 Senate staff,
8 doctors,
12 members of his private nursing staff,
and 1 "other.”

Sindac declined to divulge specific names, but said one person on the list is a "former president.”

Former President Fidel V. Ramos visited yesterday, in what he called a reunion of sorts in Camp Crame.

“My purpose was just to pay my respect, because this particular area was the scene of our work together, which was very successful during the 1986 People Power revolution,” Ramos said.

The PNP enforces a different visiting schedule at the PNP general hospital.

Meanwhile, the visiting hours at the PNP Custodial Center have been aligned with those of the BJMP, which is from 1:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. from Tuesday to Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.

Doctors, lawyers, immediate family members, and "spiritual advisers,” however, can visit anytime but with prior coordination.

Sindac said Enrile is doing well after suffering from upticks in his blood pressure the past few days.

PNP doctors also recommended that Enrile undergo a "2D echo" examination tomorrow morning.

“The warrant of arrest has been returned to the Sandiganbayan. Mabuti naman siya. His blood pressure is 140/70, heart rate is 63 [beats per minute], and temperature is 36 [degrees Celcius]," Sindac said. – from Atom Araullo, ABS-CBN News
