MANILA - Various healing Masses in different parts of the country were held for former president Corazon Aquino on Sunday.

The Masses were simultaneously held in St. Peter and St. Paul Parish in Makati City, St. Rose of Lima Parish in Paniqui, Tarlac, Our Lady of Fatima in Mandaue, Cebu and Shrine of the Infant Jesus of Prague in Davao City.

The masses were attended by thousands of her supporters, including Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay, who were all praying for her recovery.

Aquino was diagnosed with colon cancer last year and has been confined at the Makati Medical Center since June 25 for loss of appetite.

The current health condition of the former president remains stable. However, no one knows how long she will stay in the hospital. Report from ANC
