LPGMA president Arnel Ty said small players will not be able to cut prices of liquefied petroleum gas by P1 per kilogram.

Ty told ABS-CBN's Umagang Kay Ganda that based on the group's computation they can only rollback LPG prices by P.80 per kilogram, not P1 as announced by Energy Secretary Angelo Reyes.

The LPGMA president added that the group is also not sure if there will be a price cut on LPG products by August.

He said they would know by the end of Friday if they can rollback LPG prices and how much should be the price cut.

Reyes said international contract prices for LPG have fallen by about $17 a barrel, which could translate to a P10 to P11 per 11-kilogram tank in the local market.
