MANILA - The collective grief over the death of  former President Corazon "Cory" Aquino should serve as an eye-opener for politicians that Filipinos value integrity and morality in public service.

Manila Archbishop Cardinal Gaudencio Rosales said the simplicity and authencity of Mrs. Aquino's kind of public service endeared her to millions of Filipinos, and politicians who do not have such qualities should not seek public office.

"Thank God for Cory. She is the most appreciated President we ever had, most respected, most loved. She was very simple, honest, true, authentic. Ngayon, lahat ng Pilipino ay nagbibigay pugay sa kanya, nagtitipon-tipon ang libo-libo," Rosales said.

Rosales noted that the national mourning over Cory's death is reminiscent of Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino's death in 1983. From the  Aquinos, Filipinos found role models in public service.

Thousands of Filipinos from all walks of life continue to flock to the Manila Cathedral, where Mrs. Aquino's remains lie in state.

She is the first non-Church official to be accorded such honor at the Cathedral, where incidentally, the wake of her close friend and confidant, the late Manila Archbishop Cardinal Jaime Sin, was also held four years ago. Sin is buried in a crypt in Manila Cathedral.

Yes God Exist

Yes God exist! Yet God reveal himself in a mysterious way his full revelation will depend on us that if we fully submit our self to Him, likewise, He will also reveal His self and His kingdom to us completely. We are very blessed by him despite of the shortcomings we committed every day. Much more blessed are those who died for him, for they will receive the opulence in heaven.

I believe the death of our former President Corazon C. Aquino is a mysterious revelation of God, using her as the instrument to relay His message that we need a change. Her death will remain mysterious for those who donnot believe in her as well as for those who donnot believe that a change in administration is needed and a change for everyone of us and seek more moral values rather than dwell on materialistic world, is only the solution. At the Midst of our Political crisis and incoming presidential election, why now?

Cory is the true and almost perfect example of the characteristics of a Human Heart. How she had deprived her own self of what she deserved instead she dwells much more of the needs her country as well as the needs of her people. She ignored seductions many times over by some of her own cabinet members and there she suffered the consequences and several coup attempts encountered her and yet she survived.

I believe the solution to the political turmoil of our country is not the one who will be taking over the Malacanang’s cab sera in 2010;

“What can a human heart do if all the good cells of our body are already been rotten by cancer cells?” “What can a good leader do if majority of her cabinet members are having their own hidden agenda or their own personal interests?“

“Anhon man sang Heart ni Cory kun all her colon are already consumed by her own cancer cells.”

Likewise, what do you think God will do to help revived mother earth if majority of people doesn’t believe in Him anymore………… I believe that if destruction of mother earth will come from us then precisely the need to change is the only solution and that it will come from us.

I’m translating it to my experience as a Club president, how can our long term goal be achieved if there are less members are helping, most of them are just complaining and complaining usually the one who speaks louder are the ones who is unwilling. I was appointed as the purok president 2008 same situation then I gave up because I don’t have the HEART like Cory.

Ask not, what your country can do for you? Ask, what can you do for your country?
