MANILA - "Mabait si Senator Bong Revilla."

These were the words of whistleblower Benhur Luy during his cross-examination by defense lawyer Stephen David, who asked Luy about apparent inconsistencies in Senator Bong Revilla's alleged kickbacks in the pork barrel scam.

Luy explained that while he is saying Revilla received 50 percent, this came in tranches because Revilla allegedly did not demand getting a lump sum.

David earlier said the names of his clients Janet Lim Napoles, Ronald John Lim, and John Raymund de Asis are not to be found in any of the vouchers, reports, and receipts submitted by Luy as evidence.

Luy, however, said his activities as financial officer and as president of one of the non-government organizations (NGOs) involved in the scam were upon the orders of Napoles.

In an ambush interview, David said they were able to impeach Luy's testimony on the deliveries of goods to beneficiaries of Napoles NGOs.

David, however, said he was not able to pursue his questioning on Luy's Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) case.

Luy admitted that he, his mother, and brother are being investigated by the AMLC but David was not allowed by the court to continue his questioning since Luy is not his witness.

Luy's cross-examination willl resume next Thursday.
