MANILA, Philippines - Malacañang urged relieved Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency deputy director general Carlos Gadapan to bring his allegations against director general Jose Gutierrez Jr. to the "proper forum."
Deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte declined to comment on the allegations that Gadapan made in a radio interview and instead advised Gadapan to relay his concerns to the Executive Secretary.

The sacked PDEA official earlier said he was relieved from his post because he started talking about the alleged gambling debts of his boss's wife.
"Perhaps he should communicate with his superiors or at least with the ES if he has any sentiments about that," Valte told reporters.
"Whatever serious allegations that have been leveled should be made in the proper forum," she added.
"If he chooses to make those serious allegations in the proper forum, then he will be listened to."
Valte said she has no other information on the reason why Gadapan was relieved, other than what was stated previously by the Palace.
Presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda said on Monday that Gadapan was relieved "for loss of confidence."
"In my conversation with the Executive Secretary the other day, loss of confidence is the only reason that was mentioned to us. And as we know, all presidential appointees are aware of the fact that we all serve at the pleasure of the President and that you can be relieved at any point," Valte said.
Asked if Gadapan was given due process, Valte said she has no information on what took place before Gadapan was relieved.
The Palace hopes the development will not negatively affect the PDEA.
"We're hoping that it will not disrupt any operations and that they will keep pursuing their mandate," Valte said.
