Palace to Robin Padilla: Do not obscure pork scam issue
MANILA - Malacanang advised actor Robin Padilla to focus on holding other lawmakers liable for possibly abusing government funds.
Presidential Spokesperson Edwin Lacierda said Padilla should ask each lawmaker if they stole from the public coffers.
He further advised Padilla not to obscure the pork barrel scam issue by instead also asking Senate President Franklin Drilon if he spent government money well.
Padilla earlier urged Drilon to step down from office after the latter admitted to receiving P100 million funds under the Disbursement Acceleration Program. Drilon claimed there was no bribery involved.
