No positions yet for Ping, Kiko
BALI, INDONESIA - President Aquino said the Executive Secretary is still studying the proposed executive order outlining the functions of the position that would be given to former senator Ping Lacson. The position is said to be related to combating corruption in government.
As for former senator Kiko Pangilinan, Aquino said he is waiting word from Pangilinan as to when he would be ready to accept government position.
Pangilinan had said he wanted to spend time with his family after his term expired in 2013. The former senator is said to be interested in a position related to agriculture.
Meantime, Aquino said he is still waiting for the results of the National Bureau of Investigation's probe on alleged extortion at the Department of Transportation and Communications when asked about the status of MRT general manager Al Vitangcol.
