Osmeña joins LP ticket
MANILA - Former Senator Serge Osmeña has officially joined the senatorial ticket of the Liberal Party (LP), which is fielding Senators Benigno Aquino III and Manuel Roxas II in the 2010 elections.
"We welcome the decision of former Sen. Osmeña in accepting to be part of the People's Coalition," said LP spokesman Quezon Rep. Lorenzo Tañada.
Osmeña remains with the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino (PDP) party. The LP decided to open its senatorial ticket to politicians outside the party. Thus, the term "People's Coalition."
He is the sixth in the LP senatorial ticket.
The others are former Sen. Frank Drilon (LP), Muntinlupa Rep. Rufino Biazon (LP), former Bukidnon Rep. Neric Acosta (LP), Bukidnon Rep. Teofisto 'TG' Guingona (Kaya Natin), and party-list Rep. Risa Hontiveros (Akbayan).
Osmeña was the campaign manager of the opposition slate--Genuine Opposition (GO)--in the 2007 elections.

Diyos ko po naman, pinag mamalaki pa ng LP si Osmena , bakit malibnis bang Senador yan, ano ba ang mga nagawa niya na naging isang karapat dapat siyang ipag malaki? Ang tagal niyo na sa politika hindi paring kayo nag sasawang man linglang sa sambayanang Pilipino?
Kay Noynoy Aquino kong ang gusto mo talaga ang linisin ang Pilipinas ng mga BUAYA linisin muna ngayon ang mga tao nasa paligid niyo.Dahil mahihirapan kalang pag dating nang panahon kong manalo ka.Dahil puro utang na loob ang babayaran mo sa kanila.Kong talaga gusto ka ng taong bayan hindi muna kailangan ang mga TRAPOS sa linya mo, kumuha ka ng mga hindi politiko na mga career orinted personalities hindi yang mga TRAPOS, bakit sa palagay niyo ba mananalo iyan sila sa sariling nilang mga probinsya.Tingnan mo ang CEBU nasaan na ang mga Osmena wala na!! dahil mga palpak.
Mga butante tingnan niyo ng maigi ang mga kalidad ng mga LP senador hindi ba sila mga kurakot noon nasa kapangyarihan pa sila?
Kaya ingat kayo sa pag pili baka bandang huli mas lalo tayong mag hirap.Nasubukan na natin yang mga iyan wala ring nangyari dahil puro bulsa ang inaatupag punuin hindi ang sikmura ng kalahatang Pilipino.
