Palace: There's clamor for PGMA to run in Pampanga
MANILA - There is a clamor for President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo to run for a seat in the House of Representatives in 2010, a Malacañang spokesperson said Thursday.
"Yes, especially in Lubao," deputy presidential spokesperson Lorelei Fajardo told reporters when asked if there is clamor for Mrs. Arroyo to run for congresswoman in Pampanga province.
Lubao is the President's hometown. Her eldest son, Juan Miguel 'Mikey' Arroyo, is representative of the second district of Pampanga.
Fajardo, however, clarified that she has not seen anyone from Pampanga approach Mrs. Arroyo and say "Madame President, gusto ka naming tumakbo."
The spokeswoman said the President has not talked about her plan after her term ends in June 30, 2010.
Speculation about Mrs. Arroyo's supposed plan to seek a seat in Congress has been fueled by her frequent visits to Pampanga and her hometown.
Mrs. Arroyo's critics suspect she is making herself visible in her hometown because of her plan to run for congresswoman. They said the move could be tied to her alleged plan to help ensure that the next administration will still be friendly to her.
To make it difficult for PGMA
Randy David, a University of the Philippines professor and staunch critic of Mrs. Arroyo, had said that he will try to block Mrs. Arroyo's supposed plan to run for congresswoman in Pampanga.
"Ipinapangako ko lamang na hindi magiging madali kay Pangulong Arroyo. Hindi niya makukuha ang segunda distrito on a silver platter (I promise that it will not be easy for President Arroyo. She will not get the second district [of Pampanga] on a silver platter)," David told in a recent interview over radio dzMM.
The professor admitted that it would not be easy for him to block Mrs. Arroyo's rumored plan to run for a seat in Congress, and that it seemed "a quixotic quest... probably foolish," but he promised that he will do everything "to make that difficult for her." -- Report from Willard Cheng, ABS-CBN News

Clamor for GMA to run in Pampanga????? Ha ha ha. Di ko yata mabalitaan samin sa pampanga. I think ang clamor ay mapatalsik na si si GMA, hindi lang sa pampanga kundi sa buong kapuluan. Kawawa naman si lorelei after ni GMA, hindi na kasi nya ma identify kung ano ang kasinungalingan sa kabobohan eh.

Kung nilalaan na lang ba sa education, health & agrarian yan masaya pa ang buong filipino.
Pero katuwa talaga si Lorelei, pag nagsasalita sya parang wala ka talagang paniniwalaan. Siguro sister kau ni Gma. kasi di ba ang singungaling ay kapatid ng magnanakaw ha ha ha.

Si Arroyo, hindi lang ek-ek-konomista kung di "event planner" at "organizer" din pala! Talaga naman plantsado na nya lahat para sa darating na halalan!
Meron akong poorcast -- akala nyo si Kuya Kim lang ang marunong nyan:
1. Si Gibo ay mananalo sa May 2010 -- by hook or by crook! Syempre, pagaganahin ni Arroyo ang kanyang e-cheating machinery (nung 2004, manual cheating machinery pa lang yun kaya mejo nagkaproblema sya nun)! At hindi lang si Gibo ang mananalo, kung di pati na ang mga asungot sa Kongreso na kaalyado ni Arroyo! Syempre, tatakbo si Arroyo bilang kongresista sa Pampanga. Salamat sa Smartmatic -- silang lahat ay "smart" choice and auto-"matic" winners sa daring nga May 2010 fools!
2. Isusulong ni Gibo at ng mayoriya sa Kongreso (House of Repress-SIN-ta-THIEVES at SIN-nate) ang Charter Change upang amyendahan ang Konstitusyon para sa kanilang sariling kapakanan! Palalawigin ang termino ng Pangulong Gibo at i-adopt ang parliamentary form of government. Bubuwagin ang senado kasi maraming taga-oposisyon ang nandun. Si Arroyo ang i-elect ng mga kaalyado nya sa Kongreso, ung mga repress-SIN-ta-THIEVES bilang maging Prime Minister. Ang galing no? So, nasa poder pa rin si Arroyo, plus Gibo! Ika nga, it takes two to tango (taenang gago) -- hindi lang cha-cha! O di ba, both of them are winners at may powers!
3. Sa bagong Konstitusyon, bibigyan ng immunity from suit ang Prime Minister. Ayon, abswelto si Arroyo sa mga krimen na ginawa nya nung siya ang Pang-ulol pa ng Pilipinas!
4. Magpoprotesta ang mga talunan na kandidato. Pupunta sila sa Korte Suprema upang mag-file ng kaso. Pero mabagal ang usad ng kanilang kaso -- parang dun sa nangyari kay Zubiri at Pimentel. Aabutin ng isa, dalawa... hindi... aabutan ito ng "siyam-siyam" (forever). Syempre naman, mga appointed justices ni Arroyo kaya ang nandun. Ops, "independ" kuno sila, pero ganun pa rin ang mangyari. Idederail lang ang pagresolba ng kaso.
5. Magkakaroon na naman ng mawalawakang protesta, pag-aalsa laban sa rehimeng Gibo at Arroyo -- EDSA na naman ba? Magkakagulo ang Pilipinas. At dahil dyan, magdedeklara si Gibo ng "martial law"! Ayun, back to square one ulit tayo!
