Gibo: The presidency or retirement in 2010
MANILA - For Gilbert Teodoro Jr., there are only 2 options after the 2010 elections: the presidency or retirement from politics.
Teodoro told ABS-CBN News Channel’s Business Nightly on Thursday that he is joining the next race for the highest post in the country since he would like to retire early from public service.
“I would like this to be the last in actual elective public service that I’ll do,” he told host Ricky Carandang.
A Philippine president has a fixed term of 6 years. Teodoro is now 45 years old.
“I find myself in an opportunity where I’m still probably in my prime—physically and intellectually—and can still devote myself to the country,” he said.
“After this stage in my career, probably I will not do the same thing again,” he added.
Teodoro belongs to a divided Cojuangco clan that has been active in local and national politics.
He represented the first district of Tarlac province in Congress for 3 terms from 1998, after serving as the lawyer of his uncle, Eduardo “Danding” Cojuangco, a staple in politics and business.
President Arroyo then appointed him as Defense Secretary and concurrent chair of the National Disaster Coordinating Council.
These appointments exposed him to high-profile incidents, including the months-long kidnapping of 3 volunteers of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the island province of Sulu in Mindanao.
Last month, he was at the forefront of the disaster management efforts of the government in the wake of back-to-back typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng (international code names Ketsana and Parma), which killed hundreds and damaged billions-worth of properties, including farmlands, in Central and Northern regions of Luzon.
Since he announced in March that will join the presidential race in the May 2010 polls, he has not wavered in his resolve to clinch the country’s top post.
His ratings in surveys, however, have barely improved. In the latest survey results of Pulse Asia conducted last October 22-30, he garnered a 2% voting preference share among 1,800 respondents.
The survey’s margin of error is 2%.
He is banking on the political machinery of his party, the administration-led Lakas-Kampi-CMD, which formally proclaimed him as their presidential contender during their Thursday national convention
If he fails to win, he said he will retire “help the country in another capacity.”
One of his options is to contribute policy-related inputs on the security sector to non-governmental organizations and think tanks.

We have a short story.Ang kapitbahay namin ay siga at maton ang pamilya.Mayroon silang 4 na anak na babae at isang lalake.Bale ang lalake ay pangtatlo sa magkakapatid in short he's in a middle.so habang lumalaki ay wala silang problema.Nagsimula ang problema since naging dalaga at binata sila.Habang tumatagal laging nawawala ang make-up,panty at bra ng mga anak niyang babae.Tinanong nila si Lalake kung nakita na niya ang mga gamit ng kapatid dahil naghihinala na sila.Hanggang sa matuklasan nila ang totoo na ito ay isang bakla.Galit na galit ang tatay niyang siga.Pinipilit talaga siyang maging lalaki.Sinasaktan at binubugbog.So ginawa ng tatay bumili siya ng empty drum at doon niya inilublob si bakla niyang anak."Sabihin mo ngayon sa akin kung lalake ka o bakla",sabi ng sigang tatay."Bakla po ako",sabi ni anak na lalaki.Paulit- ulit nilublob ni sigang tatay ang anak at halos ikamatay nito.Hanggang sa magalit ang anak na bakla dahil malulunod na siya.Sumigaw siya "OO NA SIRENA PO AKO" napatawa ang lahat ng kapitbahay nila.
Saludo sa undecided
Saludo ako sa mga as of now ay undecided, kami ang mga naging undecided dahil sa pagatras ni mar, wala ng mapili sa presidentiables eh, but mandaya man ang admin, manalo man si gibo, erap, for sure magkakaroon ng people power at vice president will take charge so dapat siguraduhin nating si mar ang manalong vice. Or matino sana ang manalong vice unlike gloria dati.

Gibo made an alliance with the president evil. If he wins (of course by cheating), he WILL protect her from multiple corruption charges being leveled against her. Gibo is GMA's protegee. He will just be GMA's extension of corrupt and degenerate governance. Sila na nga nagsabi, "kung ano ang puno, siyan'ng bunga". Now regarding Fernando, every bridge you see at EDSA made by MMDA, the overpriced materials came from his company. Di ba corruption din 'yun. Nakikinabang siya sa puwesto niya. Eto ba gusto niyong pangulo? Besides, Gibo is NDCC chairman, BF is MMDA chairman. Ondoy gave us a peek of what's going to happen to RP if any of this two become president -- nothing. You just wait to die in a great flood.

As i have posted in another article, boo na ang loob ng mga nagpopost dito kung sino ang iboboto nila at kung sino ang sinusuportahan nila. Ang naapektuhan na lang ng mga post mo ay yung mga undecided.
Pero dahil sa sila ay undecided it means medyo nangangapa pa sila sa mga candidates
Salamat sa pagpapakita mo kung anong klaseng mga tao ang sumusuporta kay Bayani at tiyak ayaw ma-associate ng mga undecided voters sa isang tulad mo. You are just scaring them away from Bayani. Doon sa ibang nagpopost, salamat din sa pag batikos kay Noynoy ng walang basis dahil nangangapa pa nga sila they will verify.
It can be noticed that some Noynoy supporters only post a few lines except for me and some. Baka nga yung 1% pa ni Bayani ay malipat pa kay Noynoy dahil sa ginagawa ni ocsd10...

Political Machinery
According to pundits, political Machinery can deliver at most 15% of the total votes cast add to that the survey results, Gibo can get at the very least 17% of the votes cast in the final tally. If there is no poll fraud.
In a 9 corner fight Gibo can be a clear winner if all have the same level of popularity among the voters if each can garner at least 11% in surveys. If there is cheating just like what happened in the 2004 election give another 5Million votes from the fraud ridden provinces (the provinces where the leaders are the ones that votes for the entire baranggay). 5Million votes of 45 Million voters is about 10% in total Gibo can get 27% more or less this coming election. Desperate people will do everything if the fraud is widespread the 27% can be increased further.
The only way to beat a cheating machinery is to rally behind one common candidate just like what happened in 1986. The cheating Machinery was so obvious that even the common people saw it.
Please... please, i know that you are committed already to your respective candidates, but if you want to change this corrupt government rally behind Noynoy, 44% is pretty hard to overcome even in an election tainted with fraud and machinations.
