Leftist lawmakers back out of NP slate
MANILA - Bayan Muna Rep. Satur Ocampo and Gabriela Rep. Liza Maza on Tuesday said they will no longer join the senatorial slate of Sen. Manny Villar's Nacionalista Party, opting instead to run for the Senate as independent candidates.
In a press conference, Ocampo said their group will no longer join the NP senatorial slate as guest candidates after Villar's party forged an alliance with the Kilusang Bagong Lipunan party of Ilocos Norte Rep. Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., son of the late strongman Ferdinand Marcos.
Both lawmakers said siding with the NP would mean compromising their advocacy against the human rights violations of the late strongman and the recovery of the ill-gotten wealth of the Marcoses. They said the NP-KBL coalition showed that the two parties are now equals despite being adversaries during the Marcos regime.
Villar, the NP presidential bet said that he forged an alliance with the KBL because of its pro-poor stand, which is aligned with his party's advocacy and his platform of government.
The senator said the NP will announce its complete senatorial slate on November 29, and he plans to file his certificate of candidacy for president on December 1, the last day of the filing of COC set by the Commission on Elections.
Villar has picked Sen. Loren Legarda of the Nationalist People’s Coalition as his running mate.

In hacienda luisita massacre,rallyist from different towns gave sentiments to all small farmers, who can not fight to those rich and influence politicians and businessmen.How they will fight?They can't even buy foods for their family.If we didn't harvest their small farm,they will not eat.Rallyist felt their hardships in life against to hacienda luisita,until some rallyist died to fight for them.They're not deserved to die.They need justices,and the truth will set us free.

Philippines has been a corrupted country since Manuel L.Quezon up to present.Because of lack of sincerity,the succeeding presidents didn't take any actions to sequester all the corrupted money and properties.Not one of these candidates like,Villar,Noynoy,Gibo,Escudero,or Estrada can take actions.Bayani Fernando,who is implementing the laws,even though it will hurt him in his political campaign.He is more action than promise.Bayani Fernando is the man of "ACTION IS LOUDER THAN VOICE".
