Arroyo hints at stepping down in 2010
MANILA - President Arroyo on Thursday led the nation in mourning the victims of a bloody election-related massacre in Maguindanao province while giving her first hint that she is ready to step down as President next year.
During the national prayer breakfast in Malacañang, Mrs. Arroyo prayed for the victims of the massacre and vowed that the perpetrators will not escape justice.
The President condemned the use of violence to win the elections, saying that candidates should employ democratic means.
At the end of her keynote speech, Mrs. Arroyo also hinted that she would be stepping down as President next year.
"This is the last national prayer breakfast I will have with you as president, hoping there will be other occasions like this before I step down," she said.
This is the first time Mrs. Arroyo referred to the end of her term in 2010. Several groups earlier accused the President of hatching a plan to extend her term by amending the 1987 Constitution.

You can't blame people if they have nothing but negative feedback about Arroyo. This just shows how utterly disappointed they are with how Arroyo lead us. She has grossly thwarted the hope we betted on her. A complete disappointment.

Do something RIGHT. You still have time to redeem yourself.
After all the defections in her party, it's only expected for her to publicly say she'll be stepping down. She's been abandoned like a rug by her cohorts and plunderers. People she has helped a lot to amass wealth robbed from us.
Now, it's up to the voters to be keen this coming election. BEWARE. Refrain from voting these animals who've joined other parties just to disassociate themselves from Arroyo. These animals for sure have robbed millions of taxes and are now plotting a perfect way to rob more by joining LP and Nacionalita parties. BEWARE.

Oi! wag kayo agad maniwala dyan... ginawa na nya yan last 2004 election, 95% possibility na gagawin nya ulit ngayun considering the monstrous scandals, corruptions, killings na kinasangkotan ng kanyang administration and his family.
