9 Ampatuans suspects in Maguindanao massacre
MANILA - Nine members of the powerful Ampatuan clan are considered suspects in the brutal murders of 57 people in Maguindanao province last Monday, Justice Secretary Agnes Devanadera said Friday.
Devanadera said that aside from Datu Unsay Mayor Andal Ampatuan Jr., the other suspects on the justice department's surveillance list are Maguindanao Gov. Andal Ampatuan Sr., Autonomous Region for Muslim Mindanao Gov. Zaldy Ampatuan, Nords Ampatuan, Maguindanao Acting Vice-Gov. Akmad Ampatuan, Datu Saudi Ampatuan Mayor Saudi Ampatuan Jr., Bahnarian Ampatuan, Sajid Islam Ampatuan, and Akmad Tato Ampatuan Sr.
"They are under investigation and under surveillance," Devanadera said of the eight suspected Ampatuans not in custody. She said immigration authorities had been alerted to prevent them from fleeing the country.
The justice chief said the 9 had varying degrees of participation either before, during or after the canage, based on witness accounts. She said her strongest evidence is the testimony of Buluan Vice-Mayor Esmael Mangudadatu who spoke to his wife before the massacre.
Mangudadatu earlier said his wife told him that it was Andal Jr. who stopped their convoy in Saudi Ampatuan town in Maguindanao last Monday. The wife also said she was slapped by Andal Jr.
Her body and the bodies of 56 other people, including women and journalists, were found in shallow graves on a hilly area in Ampatuan town hours later. The justice chief said most of the women were shot in the genitals and may have been raped before they were killed.
Devanadera said the DOJ has witness accounts that Andal Jr. was at the crime scene and not in the city hall as he claimed during the time of the massacre. She said the DOJ has more than 20 affidavit against the suspects.
Devanadera said the Datu Unsay mayor will face more murder charges, which will be filed on Tuesday. She said her department was unable to file the case on Friday because of a Muslim holiday while Monday is a public holiday.
She said criminal charges will be filed against other suspects in the coming days.
The justice chief said her department is still studying a proposal to file terrorism charges against the suspects instead of multiple murder charges.
Devanadera called on other witnesses to come forward and testify against the perpetrators.

Massacre
Justice must be served to those victims...we the Filipino people strongly request to conduct all means of search in the ampatuans clan mansions and its perimeter "halughugin buong mga mansions at bakuran" to find those weapons use in the crime scene...It is very possible that all weapons used in the massacre were kept to prevent ballistic test since the massacre was done last monday and dis-arming of involve personnel’s was done last Wednesday..., so the said dis-arming activity were too late actually and that more than 30 hours span time before dis-arming was too much enough time for the murderers to kept safe those weapons used....Investigators holding the case,please dont be blind and have all ampatuans mansions and perimeters be search to get all evidence....Pity those families of victims crying for the justice...The whole nation is watching our country every day, every time...Government, prove your worth that law is really working in our country to bring back the trust and confidence of other countries specially us (the filipino people)...This issue ha a great impact in our economy today and in the future…

Mayor Ampatuan Jr. tested negative for drugs.
This meant that he was sober when he did the crime.
He had a clear mind and was not under any influence.

If we let him out, the probability of him doing this again is HIGH.

Isama na rin pasukin ang mga bahay ng mga police, military at cvo na naka-assign sa Maguindanao at isailalim sa ballistic para malaman kung may involvement sila sa krimen na ito. Para naman sa mga Ampatuan, mukhang wala na kayong lusot dahil may pressure na kay GMA na kailangan may ulo na gugulong mula sa mga Ampatuan kaya kung mangyayari yun gantihan niyo na din si GMA at isiwalat niyo na ang tunay na nangyaring dayaan sa 2004 at 2007 elections para hanggang kulungan ay kasama niyo si GMA.
MAGUINDANAO KILLING FIELD
The CORRUPT regime of GLORIA ARROYO is beholden to the AMPATUAN clan who delivered the illegal votes to her in 2004 and 2007 elections.
There will be NO impartial investigation of the neardenthal massacre unless a outside/independent prosecutor(s) coupled with outside investigators like the US Federal Bureau of Investigation or Britain's MI5 doing the thorough investigation.
