Where Legarda stands
Charter change – Against it. In 2007, she replied to a Newsbreak survey that amending the Constitution amid economic instability “may prove to be impractical and unrealistic.”
When House Speaker Prospero Nograles tried to push for charter change amid the weakened support for House Resolution 1109, Legarda urged him to “move on,” as charter change is “a virtual zombie.”
Reproductive health bill – Ambivalent. In a leadership forum organized by ANC in June, she said that she supports “freedom of choice.” In September, Legarda stressed however that she is “pro-life” and that her “conscience would dictate her position” when the RH bill is taken up for a vote in the plenary.
Visiting Forces Agreement – For abrogation. Legarda voted against it in 1999.
Right of Reply bill – Against it. Legarda, who started her career in media, was initially for the passage of the contentious bill but withdrew her support after realizing that “an untrammeled press is better than a press that is dictated by authority.” --By Purple S. YOU HAVE NOTHING TO STAND
You have nothing to stand as Sen Madrigal remarks you are political prostitutes. You have no principles and dignity as senators. How you join with Villar before you are the one support his ouster in Senate Presidency and accused him in C5 anomally. Ever since hindi ka mapakli sa isang partido basta lumilipat ka na lang kung may magandang offer ka. Magkano ba ang binayad sa iyo madam senator I hate you to vote!!!
