MANILA, Philippines - The Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) will not compromise on its stand to oppose the controversial Reproductive Health bill, legal office chief Jo Imbong said Wednesday.

As the religious girds today for a People Power-type strategy versus the measure that will be taken up in voting at the House of Representatives, the lawyer said there has never been a law made by man that is higher than the law made by God.

She asked the faithful to continue supporting the lawmakers who are against the measure.
