DSWD Twitter account hacked
MANILA, Philippines - Social Welfare Secretary Corazon "Dinky" Soliman on Wednesday warned the public that the Department of Social Welfare and Development's Twitter account has been hacked.
Soliman said the DSWD Twitter account (@dswdserve)
is still being used by the hacker to post lewd statements and messages against the government.
The account was said to be hacked during the height of the controversy over the Anti-Cybercrime Law.
Soliman said they were unable to remove the Twitter account.
She said the new official DSWD account is @dswdserves.
Soliman also advised people to refrain from buying guns or violent toys this Christmas to prevent children from thinking that guns are normal and can be used to kill people.
This is in light of the shooting spree in Connecticut that killed 28 people, 20 of them are kids.
