Genelyn asks Janelle 'to spare kids'
MANILA, Philippines - Genelyn Magsaysay-Bautista is asking Janelle Manahan to spare her younger children from the case.
Genelyn defended her children -- 12-year-old Ramlyn, 14-year-old Ruben, and 16-year-old Julius -- from insinuations and rumors allegedly coming from the camp of Manahan that the 3 children were responsible for uploading the sex video of Ramgen and Janelle.
Genelyn said her children's statements on their Facebook accounts that defend their other siblings from the crime are natural reactions of siblings protecting each other.
She also called on Janelle to stop pointing at her children as suspects in the Ramgen killing.
She said her children are not killers and would not have harmed their older brother Ramgen.
On Thursday afternoon, Assistant City Prosecutor Napoleon Ramolete said the charges of incriminatory machinations filed by Ms. Genelyn Magsaysay against Ramgen's personal assistant, Ronald Ancajas, and Roel Puzon have been submitted for resolution.
Magsaysay accused Ancajas and Puzon of giving false statements and accusing her son Ramon Joseph and Ramona Bautista as the ones behind the murder of Ramgen.
The 2 are government witnesses to the crime.
During the hearing, only Ronald Ancajas showed up. He no longer hid his face.
Last December 19, Magsaysay filed a case of homicide against Ancajas, accusing him of being the one who killed her son.
Magsaysay's lawyer, Atty. Jeffrey Gepte, also denied allegations that it was the Bautista camp that uploaded the sex video of Ramgen and Janelle.
He said the Bautista family loved Ramgen, and they will not destroy his memory by uploading a sex video.
He also said that the filing of homicide case against Ancajas stems from the statement of Ramona that she saw traces of blood leading to the room of Ancajas.
