2 killed, 1 hurt in QC market strafing
MANILA, Philippines – Two people died while another one was injured in a shooting incident in a market in Barangay Commonwealth, Quezon City Sunday evening.
The fatalities, identified as Rolando Talento and Joel Tabor, were in front of an eatery when two armed men strafed them at around 7:20 p.m. They were pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
Talento's and Tabor's companion, identified as Arnel Celestino, was injured and is now recovering at the East Avenue Medical Center.
Police recovered four empty bullet slugs at the crime scene.
The motive for the shooting has yet to be determined.
