MANILA, Philippines - A dead body was found hanging from the rectifier of the Light Rail Transit on Tuesday morning in Manila.

The unidentified man was only wearing his shorts and t-shirt when discovered by security personnel of the LRT Taft-Pedro Gil station. His discarded pants were found away from his body.

A belt was tied around his neck then attached to a PVC pipe on top of the station's rectifier.

Authorities are still trying to identify the man. A DZMM report said the man had a tattoo on his foot.

Authorities will likewise determine if the man committed suicide or was a victim of a foul play. Noel Alamar, DZMM
