Chinese nabbed for violating gun ban

MANILA, Philippines – A Chinese man was arrested by authorities Wednesday night after he was caught violating the election gun ban.
Police said XianQian Li alias “Joey Li” was caught with a 9mm pistol and bullets at the parking area of Resorts World Manila in Pasay.
Southern Police District (SPD) director Benito Estipona said they received information that the suspect always carries a gun to the casino, and he was apprehended when he was on his way to his vehicle.
Police said the suspect was also caught with a plastic sachet containing substance suspected to be illegal drugs.
He will face charges for violating the election gun ban. Police are still investigating if the sachet contained illegal drugs. -- Report from dzMM
