Joseph Taduran, a 51-year-old  taxi driver from Las Piñas, was on duty early January 13 when passenger Juan Manantan boarded his cab at the arrival area of Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1.
Manantan accidentally left behind  a brown clutch bag containing personal documents and various foreign currencies estimated to value around P300,000.
Taduran immediately told airport action officer Danny Chua about the bag, which resulted in identifying its owner.
Taduran said that it was not his first time to return items left behind in his van but it was the first incident that involved a large amount of money.

He said he feels good whenever he returns items left on his vehicle.
Manantan  thanked the taxi driver and offered a P3,000 gift to Taduran.
