MANILA, Philippines (UPDATE) – Operations on the northbound and southbound lanes of the MRT 3 are back to normal after it got stalled on Tuesday morning due to technical problems, an official said.

Light Rail Transit Authority spokesman Hernando Cabrera said the MRT 3’s operation from Taft Avenue to Shaw Boulevard, both northbound and southbound, got stalled at around 6:30 a.m.

Cabrera said repairs had to be done after one of the rails near the Guadalupe station sustained a crack. – report from dzMM
