Suspect in stabbing of woman, 3 kids nabbed
MANILA, Philippines – The suspect in the stabbing of a woman and her 3 children in Caloocan last Monday has been arrested, police said.
Ivan Climaco, suspect in the murder of Anna Agullo, was arrested by authorities in Camachile, also in Caloocan.
Colonel Jude Wilson, chief of Caloocan City police, said Climaco was arrested after an informant told them of the suspect’s whereabouts.
Climaco is also facing frustrated murder charges for stabbing Agullo’s 3 children, who are now in stable condition at the Manila Central University Hospital.
The victims’ relatives suspect Agullo and Climaco’s recent fight involving a “video karera” machine was behind the murder.
Authorities said the informant will receive the P50,000 bounty released by Caloocan Vice Mayor Edgar Erice. – report from Dennis Datu, dzMM
